Support for older Android devices (Android 2.1) and Widgets. Now you can add a Bambuser stream to any widget area. No code needed, just use the widget gui and stream away.
I recommend that you install the plugin from the administrationpanel but if you want to do it manually, just follow the steps below.
- Download, unzip and upload the files to the '/wp-content/plugins/' directory
- Activate the plugin.
Usage - Shortcode
- Enter the '[ bambuser id="XXXXXX"]' short code into your post. The id number is the numbers in the end of the bambuser url (ex. 012345 in the url 'http://bambuser.com/channel/user/broadcast/012345')
- If you want, you can use the parameters in the shortcode to add features to the player like this, [ bambuser id="XXXXXX" height="300" width="400" debug="silent"]
id - Videostream ID. Default: empty string
channel - Show all videos from a specific user. Overrides id. Default: empty string
playlist - Options: show / hide - Default: hide
width - Width of the player. Default: 230
height - Height of the player. Default: 276
poster - URL to the image for the HTML5-videoplayer poster. Default: empty string
debug - Options: on / silent / off - Default: off
Usage - Widget
Just drag and drop the widget as you do with other widgets.
I guess you know how this works by now, so click here to download the plugin. This will take you to the plugins page over at Wordpress.org so that you always get the latest version.

Before releasing updates I use the plugin for a few days on my own blog in case there are any bugs. I also make sure it work on most (keyword "most") devices it support. But as always, shit can happen and stuff can break, so I release this plugin "as is". If your blog goes down in flames after adding this plugin, don't sue me. Help me fix it and make the plugin better. Kthnxbye.
